Meet the Optometrist

Dr. Ashley Mowl completed her undergraduate education at Radford University. She earned dual degrees in Biology and Chemistry, while also playing for the University’s softball program. She then went on to graduate from Indiana University's School of Optometry, remaining there to complete her residency in ocular disease. Dr. Mowl returned home in 2007 when DeConcilis Eye and Vision welcomed her to the family. Upon returning home, she traded her softball cleats for golf clubs and most sunny afternoons, she can be found on the golf course with her husband. Dr. Mowl is an avid sports fan. Whether in the office or out, she will never turn down the opportunity to debate, spectate, or compete in any athletic event.
